Carpinteria Wine Company is a boutique retail wine shop with a unique beginning. In June of 2004 Nick and Jenny Fischer had an idea to bring Carpinteria and the surrounding communities a local shop where they could purchase fine wines from California, Oregon, Washington, and around the world at the lowest possible prices. The idea included opening the shop in a local business park warehouse where overhead was low and didn\u2019t have the higher operating costs of a premium storefront location. They called it, \u201cCarpinteria Wine Company\u201d. In January of 2005 Jane Dambach read an ad in the local Coastal View News that Carpinteria Wine Company was looking for part-time help. Having experience and interest in wines Jane applied for the position and was hired to work alongside the other talented members of the sales team. Her knowledge of wines and ordering skills quickly developed and she was offered the manager position in 2007 when Nicole Fischer (Nick and Jenny\u2019s daughter) was relocated to manage their other location in Ventura, CA. The business continued to thrive and it became necessary to expand into the adjoining warehouse where the growing inventory of wines could be stocked and customers would still have room to browse the expansive selection. In 2013 when Nick decided to retire and sell Carpinteria Wine Company, Jane was offered the opportunity to purchase the shop. Considering her well developed skills at managing it, her answer was a quick yes! and Jane and Frank Dambach became the new owners of Carpinteria Wine Company!<\/p>\n
Jane works well with local distributors and wineries directly to stock the shelves with the best quality wines while at the same time she\u2019s happy to help customers with special requests and event planning.
